My Story
Jeremy E. Cormier was born to two great inspirational and loving parents, Edward and Theresa Cormier on November 21st, 1985. Jeremy was born and raised in St. Martinville (Cade), Lafayette, Louisiana. He is the middle child of 5. Now he resides in Atlanta, Ga. where he attended Morehouse College and obtained an undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 2008. He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration in 2012 from South University.
Cormier is a Financial Analyst for the State of Georgia where he has analyzed a portfolio of federal and state funding of $1.8Billion Dollars. He has assisted communities to improve the quality of life in reference to water infrastructure throughout the state of Georgia for the last seven years.
In his spare time, Jeremy is committed to enjoying life to the fullest as he participates in exciting hobbies through community service and entertainment projects.
As a young kid being rewarded for his educational accolades, Jeremy’s parents took him to see his first live theater production at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, titled, “Be Careful What You Pray For” starring Shirley Murdock. It was then he knew what it felt like to be a fan of the arts. Years later in college, Jeremy would get a telephone call from a family member to assist some industry friends on a play in Atlanta, titled “The Life Story of Marvin Gaye”. After working on the production, Jeremy knew the production life was where he needed to be. He has worked on several service and entertainment projects over the last 10 years. Those projects include organizations such as the late James Brown Family Foundation, Morehouse College Community Service Day and organized a project with some of the children of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His entertainment projects range from working production featuring Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, T.I, Shirley Murdock and a host of others. Cormier’s background and experience is pretty extensive for such a young age and he continues to build his resume. He is excited to make his Directorial Debut this year in Louisiana with his own production at the Heymann Performing Arts Center titled, “Even A Good Man Is Tempted.”
